Masakhane Call Centre Unclaimed

I have been paying Masakhane from 2014 the amount of R149.95. I try to contact them but no one answered the phone and I cannot find any valid details about the company online. After 7 years of payments and trying to get hold of them to no avail, I cancelled the debit order with my bank and after 3 months of not paying they miraculously call me up on a number they do not have on their system to ask what is going on (021 447 2551) Again with this number I can not find any real link that they are connected to a legit company. I have made very clear that I do not want a debit order going off from them they said they would send an updated policy as well as details for payment. Still nothing has been received.

I really need to speak to someone from Masakhane but every time I phone the 0214463900 there is no answer. The message just said you had to call later. A few time when I call the tall free number the call went through to Europ Assistance Ambulance services, but no Masakhane agent. I don't know how we can do business with people like this. They don't even got an email address where we can send them an email to explain our needs. I think my next thing to do is to inform my bank to stop payments going through to them. We can't do business with ghosts. I was thinking I'm the only one not going through to them but as I go through your complaints I saw now I'm not the only one.

I found it strange that a company that provide funeral cover does not touch base with their clients during covid 19 pandemic, while all other service providers send out communication on how to reach them during this time. I phoned Masakhane on the number provided a few times with no response. I even contacted my bank to verify the number but it came up the same 021-4463900. Will now seek legal advice, since I will not pay for a hoax. Wanted to give them zero rating, but the system does not allow for this.

This is a hoax. Poeple do not invest with these fraudsters. They steal our money

My husband has a policy with them its been so long he doesnt even remember what tipe of policy it is we dont get any post for yrs knw and we dont even have a policy number ...but they r first to take the money on month end....ive been strugeling for months nw to contac them

My rating is 0 i had to tick a block because it doesn't allow you to leave it blank! I would not recommend this. I've been a client since September 2014 and up to date have not received my policy documents. When I contacted their offices I was asked why I didn't follow up on my documents and they refuse to refund me. I would not recommend this policy to anyone.
