Our team consists of 8 qualified Environmental Assessment Practitioners (EAPs), 2 Administrators as well as a team of well experienced landscapers/horticulturists and rehabilitation specialists. Our office is situated at 45 Fabriek Street in Paarl, in the Western Cape. We also have a rehabilitation nursery situated near Hermanus. Although GNEC’s main focus area is Environmental Impact Assessment Processes (Including waste, mining and other), the multi-disciplinary structure of GNEC produces a steadfast and holistic approach to environmental management (EIA Processes), rehabilitation and landscaping, enabling GNEC to fully function in the multi-disciplinary structure of the environmental management field. GNEC has a Fynbos Nursery, managed by a Botanical and a Horticultural Specialist. This nursery is used for the propagation and rehabilitation of sensitive vegetation species of various sites. In addition to the expertise offered by this team, GNEC has built up a relationship with well experienced and acknowledged specialists who forms part of our assessment teams as required. These specialists include, but are not limited to botanical, freshwater, soils/agricultural, visual, archaeological, heritage, social, stakeholder engagement; noise and fauna [and avi-fauna] specialists. GNEC strives to keep abreast of the latest movement in the international environmental field through personal development initiatives and research. GNEC is also committed to local empowerment by skills education.
