Little Minions Academy Claimed

Little Minions Academy was opened in Discovery on 1 September 2016 to respond to the growing need for quality, affordable, private pre-school education in the area. It lies just one block away from Gustav Preller Primary School.

With over 13 years' experience in the Early Childhood Development phase, and a love for children, the owner has the requisite passion and experience to nurture and develop your little loved ones. It has responsive and caring teachers with over 40 years' qualified experience. The children are well-cared for and treated with love and respect.

The Baby Centre takes care of babies from three months to two years. They get stimulation, individual attention and a loving environment away from home.

The Pre-school has children from two to six years. The different classes have a strong focus on creativity; language development; numeracy (foundation of maths) and life skills. Most importantly we believe in the philosophy that kids learn through playing, so each day is planned out so that kids have a rich diversity of experiences.

We follow the Oxford CAPS Grade R curriculum to ensure that your child is ready when he/ she goes to grade one. This has a strong focus on kinaesthetic learning.

We also offer Aftercare to surrounding primary schools and your child's homework will be complete so that you can relax.

To increase the safety of children the playground as well as all classes are equipped with CCTV cameras.

During holidays we have an activity-filled plan which the children love.

We are open from 06h00 to 18h00 and in this time follow a daily routine, with competent teachers who will ensure a loving and caring environment.
